This article focuses on the specific topic of ethics in the military field related to the cyber sector. A sector that is considered a dual-use technology since the same device can be used in the civil or military environment; that is, the same device can be used to benefit or harm a given society. Therefore, many of the concepts explored here can be extrapolated to the civil sector and used as a basis for further research. In addition, it explores some of the main ethical dilemmas that a soldier can face when conducting a cyber-operation. These issues should be widely discussed and debated in schools of training, training, and military specialization. In conclusion, a definition of cyberweapon is proposed that contributes to the investigation of IT systems and their evolution in the context of defense.
